Just do the math. I use burial cable out to the tower base/ power supply
(~200 feet). Note: Although the PPM's will run on AC it's best to feed them
with DC. Then up the tower (another 100 feet) still with 2 plus gnd burial
cable, using the "gnd" wire as common (OK I guess since it's quite low
voltage) and the other two for CW and CCW. You can measure the PPM current
and power supply current, decide what voltage drop you're willing to live
with and then with the wire resistance and curent, find the guage you need
and go to your nearest big box store electrical department. That's what I
did about 15 or 20 years ago and it's worked out fine,
