[TowerTalk] Making guy lines visible

Dick,

I've used left over PEX radiant heating tubing to make guys visible.  
Still there with good color retention after 7 years in the CA sun even 
though PEX is not particularly UV resistant. It comes in many colors 
including orange and red.  I slipped it on before the guys were tied 
off.  Available at Home Depot in rolls or stop by for some red leftovers 
I have from my shop project.  HVAC contractors throw away lengths under 
about 50' since it shouldn't be spliced when installed.

When warmed I think it could be slit with a box cutter and it is pretty 
flexible in the 3/8 and 1/2" sizes.  All of my new plumbing and 
compressed air lines are PEX, copper prices are absurd and the PEX crimp 
fittings are a joy.
