And not incidentally, the DC motors in later Yaesus are essentially 
fail-safe.  My G-800SA has a locking rocker switcxh for controlling the 
direction of turn, and I have occasionally left it driving the rotator 
against one or the other stop literally for days, with no harm to 
anything but my ego.
