Hi Jim,

Sorry for wasting the bandwidth but I feel obligated to provide you with some facts.  I have the Antenna Modeling book by Ward Silver, the ARRL antenna handbook, and the EZNEC manual.  I ran into a problem modeling a very high Q shorty forty antenna that I cannot find an answer for in those books.  I'm hoping that others with more experience on EZNEC will lead me to the right direction.  My question and antenna model have been posted on the Yahoo forum.

I agree with you that a forum is not a substitute for studying the fundamentals.  I still think a forum dedicated to EZNEC will do no harm to this wonderful aspect of the hobby.  73,
