[TowerTalk] Mast froze in cold temps and would not turn

Has your rotor been the same rotor for the 25 years?  One possibility is
that your tower has never been truly plumb and that there is a small amount
of "weight lean" on the thrust bearing.  Your strong rotor has been able to
overcome the in balance over the years and now just doesn't have the
"gusto".  If you buy a new rotor, buy the one bigger than you think you
need, and it will muscle right through.
