Blind obedience to the instructions is no guarantee of success. I once
snapped off several 1/4 inch stainless steel bolts with a torque wrench
set to the specs in the printed instructions. A mech eng friend just
laughed at me as it was obvious to him the instructions were wrong and
twisting off the bolts was to be expected. I exchanged the kit with no
problems and was told I was probably the only customer who followed the
instructions.
