[TowerTalk] Flex Seal

During the ice and wind this winter my Off Center Fed Dipole  coax has to be 
replaced......

I was thinking of using 3M vinyl tape on the PL259  and then spray it with 
Flex Seal ........  I would hope
this would keep the moisture out and when cut with a razor, it would be 
removed easily....

The coax has rubbed through the out jacket from rubbing on the rocks and ice 
this winter so it has to be replaced
and I will fasten it to the ground so it does not a braid on the ice when 
the wind blows the coax....

Has anyone tried this ???
