Lately I've been receiving a few messages dated a few days back.  On the 
newsgroups it has little consequence other than answers appearing a 
couple days before the question although they may lose meaning being out 
of sequence.  OTOH, there are transactions that are date and time 
critical, particularly if you buy and/or sell
