[TowerTalk] Verticals and well pipe grounding

My brother was a master plummer.
There was a farmer in the county who had a well drilled for his cows out
in the middle of a 50 acre field.
The farm area was located less than a mile from Lake Champlain which
borders VT and NY.
The area was known for its lightning storms.
That well got struck once or twice each summer.
He was repairing it one summer day when a storm came up.
He was completely finished and was getting ready to drive away.
When it got struck again.
The cover blew off and the pump and all came flying up 20 feet into the
air.
I wish I could have seen that!!  :-]
