I've not bought it in Canada, but a feed store is a good source - it's 
used by the gallon as a animal laxative.

The other place to buy "real transformer oil" is what's called (here in 
the US) a "oil jobber".  They're basically small scale distributors of 
specialty products (mostly lubricants, but also other "things made from 
oil") - Shell Diala is one brand, Exxon Univolt is another, there's also 
a Castrol one, but I can't remember the name.
