How long is your conduit? 
Trying to glue it together with things inside may cause the glue to eat your cable coverings, or worse yet, get something pinched, which means it is stuck.  

You might have better luck gluing it together empty, then running a fish tape once the glue is dry.  Use the fish tape to feed a bigger rope, and then cables after that.
