Ahh, yes RF speech processors which most users turned up too far and 
sounded poor.  I couldn't afford one so I had to use the alternative 
method which was to place a stick in the waist band of my jockey shorts 
turning it like a tourniquet about 3-4 revolutions past pain, and 
shouting into the microphone through a toilet paper tube. Sounded about 
the same to the receiving stations.
