Wasn't the "original" DX Engineering the RF Speech processor folks from the late 1960s? W6UED and some others I can't remember...

DX Engineering, Inc. was involuntary dissolved on Aug 24, 1995. The
principals were Lew Sayre, W7EW and Bill Sattler N0XX. Lew has an email
address on QRZ, Bill does not. The original DX Engineering, Inc. was located
in Brownsville OR and was formed in June of 1989.

resided in Brownsville, Or. 97327
I can't remember this hams call ??
I installed few of his antennas in the late 80's early 90's The element
to boom were black some kind of plastic extrusion. similar to M2
