Jim,
Thanks for posting the study.
We hear so many anecdotal comments on how these antennas are better than others, blah, blah,blah.
It is great to have facts from actual research this study provides.
My decision to purchase the Force 12 C3 was based on this research study.Its been a great performer.

This observation flies in the face of measurements performed by K7LXC
and N0AX c.a. 2000, and well documented in the report linked below.
Their test methods are first rate, and so are their credentials. Since
N6BV retired about five years ago, N0AX has been editor of the ARRL
Handbook and the ARRL Antenna Book. I've contributed to both, and have
had considerable technical interchange with him.

Between us, NI6T, W6GJB and I own three C3SS antennas, all bought used
for our contesting group. We use them on FD and on county expeditions
for CQP and 7QP. We love this antenna, which offers very good
performance in a lightweight, compact package.
