Antennas work fine for transmit without ferrite chokes. The primary 
benefits of a ferrite choke on the feedline are 1) to minimize receive 
noise, 2) to minimize crosstalk between antennas, and 3) to minimize RFI 
issues caused by TX RV on the feedline.
