[TowerTalk] Rooftop tower as Vertical Antenna

If length is limited, you can always add a wire from the top to any distance point. This way you will create an "Inverted L" antenna covering much lower bands.

If the tower is insulated at bottom, you can get a vertical antenna.
You just need to add some radials, better option are "elevated radials", and your remote tuner.

Since you must have some grounding conductors connected to the tower for
lightning protection, "insulated" from the roof isn't insulated from ground.
You don't say what band(s) you might be interest in, but I don't see an easy way
to utilize this for much of anything other than holding up your tribander.
