WOW Tnx very much for all the useful info. And, yes, all these jumpers and switches will be between the amp and antenna and so will need to be able to handle QRO.

I want to be able to configure my modest station for SO, SO2R, M/S and M/2 without having to be forever moving coax around. Looks like 4O3A has a solution for this but it requires quite a few coax switches and attendant jumpers. I thought it would be nice to not have to wrestle with relatively stiff 0.4" coax. However my first foray into pricing RG 400 revealed $5/ft (7.50 CAD/ft) which made me think RG 213 might not be so bad to wrestle with after all. However, lots of good info on sources and even kk9a's reference to 50 ft for $100 on e-bay has rekindled my interest. The comments re the need for good shielding were also very informative.

Thanks again everybody

Subject: Skinny QRO coax jumpers for station interconnection

I have a number of filters and switches to wire up in my QRO station. I would like the necessary coax jumpers to be thinner (0.25" ?) and more flexible than, say, RG 213. They will be terminated by crimped PL 259s (or equivalent).

Any suggestions as to what I should use?
