Hi Jeff,

This probably doesn’t answer your specific situation but thought I’d pass
along what I did to store the booms and elements from multiple scrap HF
antennas.

I had been storing the tubing on the ground and that presented a big hassle
when it came to mowing. My first thought was to get a used swing set and
remove everything except the frame. Drill several holes along the legs of
the frame and mount some short tubes in the holes which would support the
antenna pieces. I scrapped that idea.

What I wound up doing was use four 4”x4”x8’ wood posts spaced 5 ft apart
and set 2’ in concrete. I then screwed four cross pieces on each vertical
post. Now I can lay the long booms and various sized elements along the
cross pieces. In addition, I can also store coils of hardline on the cross
pieces. Now everything is off the ground where I can mow.

Looking for ideas on a rack system to hold aluminum tubing.

I have reciently put up a building and have a length of wall for
it but can't think of a great way to organize the tubing.? Like to build
some
sort of wood rack(s) thing that would serve the purpose.
