[TowerTalk] What coax is this?

I think unless it has MIL markings the varieties are endless of what
many call RG142 or RG400. The MIL17 stuff should be silver plated CCS
solid and stranded respectively center and braid. However, I have both
single and double braid silver plated RG142, the single not marked MIL.

Then for RG316 subminature I have extruded TFE clear light brown and
white TFE tape wrapped insulation. The former marked MIL17 the latter
RG316/U MOD. One more example of variety in the surplus market where
these came from, although the MIL stuff was from a DOD contractor surplus.

And then some CB coax that is clear jacket over bare braid. Not TFE.

Caveat emptor for ebay coax.
