[TowerTalk] Weather station recommendations esp wind direction and speed?

I'm on my second Davis Vantage Pro2 but only because some of my black 
Angus herd tried to eat the first one.   Between them I think I have 
about 15 years trouble free service (Ignoring the attack of the 
miscreant bovines.)  I have two indoor readouts (RF linked  to the WX 
station) and they have been problem free the whole time.  I was put off 
a bit by the cost of the computer interface required to export data to 
the internet so I don't.
