Hi Rich,

That system is same as used in other solutions, for example the Arduino based K3NG.
The sensor is a "digital compass", for example based on LSM303 or HMC5883L chips.
You place the sensor in a plastic box, then you attach it to any part on the antenna´s boom, or tower.
Very handy system, trouble free.

Subject: [TowerTalk] 4O3A Rotor Genius - Has anyone installed one?

I'm interested in the Rotor Genius for a new tower project which will
have two rotors.  An Orion and a Tic Ring.

I think the advantage to using the RG with the TIC is not needing the
POT to determine direction.

Has anyone installed a rotor genius, results?

Thanks

Rich - N5ZC
