Agree,
I did field day this year and had a blast! It has been a decade or more
since I participated but we made some nice contacts, ten meters opened for
bit here on Vancouver Island and so did 15.
Whatever a person does that makes him or her enjoy the hobby then go for it.
Life is way too short to be a grump.
