Thanks all. The manual I was using shows an address in Starkville, so I guess it refers to an MFJ era device that is a different design even though it looks exactly the same.

Al. The push pull switch is for calibration the full scale meter to your IR on your specific cable run. You push it in call switch button and turn it to adjust meter full scale
