The directivity of a K9AY, if I understand the theory, drops as the skywave angle increases. On the BCB I can completely null out one of two stations on the same frequency as long as one of them is more or less in line with one of the primary directions and the other is more than 90 degrees from that.

I use K9AY loops for 80 and 160. They are definitely not equal to Beverages, but they help a fair bit.

I am installing a shunt feed to my tower for 160 transmitting. Interested in a 160 receive system.
  Looking at DX Engineering 4-Square system. Our lot is in the woods and not that large.  Any advice on this or other systems would be appreciated.
