As an electrician I get easy access to wire. For all my wire antennas I use#12 xlpe/use2 . Durable and uv protected. I’ve had my wires up for years.

Problem with copperweld is rust.  When you scratch the copper away it makes
a rusty mess.  I had terrible problems with copperweld twin lead rusting
where it connected to the antenna.  73
