What you want is "wicking" thread locker - mine is 290 Green, but it 
doesn't show up on Loctite's site. It's readily available, though, made 
by Henkel Adhesives.

24 hour cure.


Why not nail polish?  Historically, you'd use glyptal, which is still 
made, but the surface has to be grease/oil free.  What about model 
airplane cement (acetone solvent?)


At work (JPL) we use a variety of polymerics for "staking", but I 
suspect Solithane 113 has handling and other issues (7 day cure at room 
temp?) that make it inappropriate
