Guys, try an inverted L with one radial under the horizontal leg, both 1/4 wave long. From MN I get into Europe on a good day with 100W CW… vertical section about 45-50’. I drive a rod down only a few feet and grounded with the radial. Also a 1:1 at the feedpoint.
Best 160 antenna I’ve had yet for DX

I am considering the installation of an FCP with an inverted L for 160. It is discouraging to read W8JI's info on the FCP. Sounds like it has too littlle low angle
radiation for DX. As discussed however, K2AV does quite well with his FCP. It would be interesting to see EZNEC radiation plots showing a 160 inverted L
using an FCPand plots using various radial systems. Any of these available ?
