Anybody up for a water penetration comparo between different brands?
And, who wants to risk saving a few bucks and then have to replace an entire run of expensive coax from the top of a 100' tower?
Meh

The Duck tape in your Amazon link looks like your typical black electrical tape that hams use for wrapping coax connectors, etc., which would compare with Scotch 33 a lot closer than Scotch 44. The 44 looks to be the kind of stuff used as insulated wrappings inside electric motors and such.
Just thought the 44 in your post might be a typo?
If so, color me extremely skeptical that the Duck stuff is equal to Scotch 33.
My guess is it’s more like the cheap stuff you can get at Harbor Freight, etc.

Thought I would share this link. I bought some electrical tape recently
and didn't really want to pay the exorbitant price they now have for Scotch
44. In my opinion this tape is every bit as good and is 1/3 the price.
