I believe 0.75 mm2 wire is US equivalent of 18 AWG which is pretty small for
a motor that could be hundreds of feet away.  Definitely the length matters
and the manual should have specified that.   It would be nice if rotator
manufactures supplied the voltage and current specs so anyone with a little
knowledge of Ohm's law could figure out the appropriate wire size to use.
House wiring has codes on allowable voltage drop, I believe it is 5%, and
wires need to be sized accordingly.
