Glad it worked AOK, Darryl,

Yes. Many of us use an external keyer, either hooked up via
the second key jack or with a "Y" connector into a single
jack. I, also, use the TR keyer when I am using TR. When
I am using my regular logging program, though, I use the
external keyer into a "Y" connector.
