G0MIC,

I had this problem as well. I thought that since TRLog supported
9600 and the TS-2000 supported 9600 it would work... In fact,
when I changed both to 4800 baud all my problems went away...

Some functions worked at 9600 from within TRLog but not
all... The rig worked at 9600 baud with other programs just
fine, but when I changed both the rig and TRLog to 4800,
all functions worked perfectly...

Subject: [TRLog] Frequency Readout and TS2000

I am having problems getting a frequency displayed or any band change made
on
the radio being registered with TR.

Set up is TR 6.65a Comm speed 9600 Radio TS2000 Laptop PC is Thinkpad 350C
(486SL @25MHz) DOS 6.22

Using Kermit I can send and receive data from the TS2000 such that I get a
correct response to a command e.g. send 'FA;' get back 'FA00014025000;'
when I am tuned to 14.025MHz on VFO A.

Using TR I can enter a frequency in the callsign field and send it to the
rig
which changes to match. Right and Left Shift keys change RIT +/- or zero it
if done together. Alt B, V and M all do what the manual says they do.
Basically the computer controls the rig as one expects.

Radio Config parameters
RADIO ONE BAUD RATE = 9600
RADIO ONE CONTROL PORT = SERIAL 1
RADIO ONE TYPE = TS2000

Running TR radiodebug gives a zero length file.

On the rig there is the 'PC' being displayed in top right corner of display.

Can you help please?

Thank you in advance

Malcolm
