Thanks for all the input and quick responses!

What I am trying to do is use an AVR

ntable=) to automatically change my amp (Alpha 87A) to a band without having
to hit it with RF.  I know if you use a windows program that the Acom will
do this but have never seen anything about non windows and an Alpha.
