My interpretation is that you not only wish to LOG
non-599 RST's, but you also wish to SEND them as well,
DURING the QSO, with a minimum of keystrokes.  Perhaps
you could program a row of function keys with different 
signal reports.  You could use the Alt Or Ctrl keys if
the standard ones are all used. It might not allow the
level of precision you desire, but you could at least
distinguish a 339 from a 539 from a 599.
