outputted ADIF log has <tx_count:1>x <category:1>y. From there you only
need to find <category:1> and replace with nothing. This would then give
you the line <tx_count:1>xy, then find and replace as previously described.
You may have to do a few experiments with leading and trailing spaces to
get the x and y together.

Thanks RICK, that worked to convert the category
into a two letter code, but the data still does
not import. Back to the drawing board!

Now when I export all the material from the new
combined log, I find categories <m:1>x and <p:1>y
where the value of x varies between non-existent and
either 1 and 2, and the value of p always seems to be
1. I thought they might be a mode code, but when the
contacts at all SSB, M is reported either as 1, 2 or
is missing entirely. I'm trying to figure out why.

When the TR data is imported into Writelog and then
exported, <m:1> is almost always reported as ? and
<p:1> is almost always reported as 0. I believe
<p:1> might be QSO points, but I have no idea what <m:1>
is.

Back to the drawing boards!
