I "2nd" this suggestion for ALL rigs!!!  What would also be helpful is a 
keyboard shortcut/Macro for a quick TOGGLE between 2 different increments 
set in an .ini or .cfg file.

FYI, I set up a special Macro-type dual footpedal...to emulate the two 
Shift keys, and can tune the rig with my feet if desired.  It is VERY cool 
(IMHO).  With practice you can control the sensitivity of the shift 
"increment", but still would like to see a dual-increment toggle setting 
available as a modification to your suggestion.
