Bernie, I don't understand this reasoning. The Icoms work fine with both 
TR679 and TR684 with the baud rates set to 4800. Tr listens and controls the 
rigs with no problems The band output information is presented on LPT1 and 
LPT2. The band output work fine with TR679 but not with TR684.

How would changing the baud rate to 1200 effect the output on the parallel 
port?
