Chris,

Thanks very much for the info. I have not noticed a degradation with the
FT1000MP, but I did notice that it was very important to reset the IF gain
properly. If you leave it as it is (pre-mod) there are problems. It's a
software-controlled adjustment. Not clear from the W8JI site how he handled
this in his tests.

Anyone else got any comments ?
