I couldn't be around for a serious entry to this one, so - to try and
encourage more activity from others in the club we decided on a casual multi
single entry. Since I was the only person available who had half an idea
what CW sounded like, I did CW on the Saturday morning and early afternoon,
and left Bob and Tony to do most of the SSB (I did just a little). I also
managed to squeeze in nearly another couple of hours at the end on Sunday.

Had a few problems with one of the feeders at the start which eat into time,
but no real equipment problems.

Not competitive, but good fun. Band seemed in pretty good shape - especially
on Sunday. Very poor to JA though - just one on SSB and one on CW worked -
though I did hear a few others around early on Saturday, but didn't expect
working them to be a problem - wrong! Happened to be around almost at kick
off since I was just putting the last of the station together and surprised
at folks like 9A5Y and S58A and a few others being a full steady 599 at 0030
- not even sounding like MS. Maybe some form of enhanced levels of e-layer
ionisation like you get from high levels of MS on 2m as the MUF creeps
higher.....
