677 QSOs in 15 hours (all CW) was not good and it was tough going. 10m
never really opened up so most QSOs were on 15m. 20m was busy but it's a
noisy band here. The LF antennas went up for the first time and I made
my first 80/40m QSOs from here.

David, VK2CZ, took part in the Asia/Pacific SSB sprint which was at the
start of the Jubilee contest and put 9M2RPN (the club station call) on
the air. I operated the same station for Jubilee after the Sprint
finished. David had a flight to catch otherwise we would have operated
M/S mixed mode.

Activity from DX BERU stations was low but it was good to work so many
people from this mailing list. The GQ calls were confusing at the start
and not being able to rely on master.dta meant some more CW pratice!
Next time (if there is a next time?) I would like to see Commonwealth
stations worth more points so I have an excuse for working G's rather
than the loud East Europeans.

I admit to not spending much time searching for mults and even missed
9M6A - sorry Peter!

With my hf.logs e-mail address hat on, I have received nearly 200
e-mailed Jubilee logs in 4 days which is excellent news.

I recorded the contest from 16:15 to 22:00 UTC and if anyone wants an
audio bite of our QSO please e-mail me. As usual there is a log-search
and some MP3 audio from the contest available at

http://www.babbage.demon.co.uk/9m2g4zfe.html

Next contest for me will be IOTA - 9M2/G4ZFE/P from Pulau Langkawi
(AS-072), 100W and vertical although sadly the rules have changed and I
will no longer be a DXpedition entrant as I am using scheduled
airflights and using mains power!

73 de Rich, 9M2/G4ZFE
