Jim I agree about the innovation of this - but once someone has done
this (ARRL), we dont need HFCC here to copy it too. Big events like the
once you cite need to be carefully structured tho to give those who can
only do one part with one band and one mode an incentive to
participate. IMHO there are too many big events and not enuf for the
smaller guys!

I agree that positively putting forward ideas for specific events is a
good idea. I tried to do some of this in my previous posting.

I do think we need to be distinctive with contests rather than just
duplicate what is already out there. Maybe for some evening short
duration contests our HFCC could partner with the DARC and PACC and
other European societies to harmonise on some ideas for all work all on
specific HF/LF bands etc?
Nice to see some other voices in the debate tho!
