[UK-CONTEST] Clubs, contests etc

Regarding the examination of participating clubs in SSB versus CW Field day, it is interesting to note that of the 6 examples of CWFD entrants provided, possibly only one is a fully constituted club, the remainder being groups who get together from time to time to enter contests and mainly CW ones at that. There may be several thoughts on this but pessimistically my initial one is that many keen CW contesters cannot find a club in which to take part,  I am sure many  have tried over the years, and, in failing, have formed contest groups with like-minded individuals.
