[UK-CONTEST] The at sign

Hmm now this brings back memories - - - I was one of those boys on an old
black bicycle with a frame carrier over the front wheel.  When stacked they
were a nightmare to ride.  Even then I failed to see the value of Morse -
learnt it just to pass the licence requirement and since 1966 have had 3 CW
QSOs!! I do not see why we need to corrupt the English language running A
and C together, what is wrong with sending the word AT?
