Hi Paul,

I think the format's a good idea, but in replacing the 21/28 contests you
are talking about replacing a 12 hour contest with a 24 hour contest. If
your proposed contest had at least low power and single band sections, maybe
even a 12 hour section, then I think few would complain at it replacing the
21/28.

I'm not too sure about 'call areas'. They would certainly be artificial in
the UK. Since you reckon there might be too many multipliers/bonuses, why
have them at all? If you want to do something along these lines, why not use
DXCC countries, e.g. use EU member nations as multipliers and DXCC countries
as bonuses - or vice versa. I guess you want EU members to be more valuable.
Not thought very hard about this though.

It would be a real coup to hijack the Euro format though and could be very
popular.
