Using a borrowed radio as my FT1kMP packed up a couple of weeks ago. Rx
audio again. Still not sure if I have got the filter settings correct as
there was only the basic filters and I had to transfer my own. The VRF
seemed to help reduce in-band cross-mod.

Also using Writelog for the first time seriously. No major problems except
it kept telling me I hadn't saved after each 20Qs. I guess there will be an
autosave routine somewhere. Now all I need to do is extract a Cabrillo file,
so far I can see Cabrillo greyed-out on the menu! Otherwise very pleased
with how it performed. I guess the real test will be with a multi-op setup
with networked machines and Cluster.

Seemed a bit slow at the start with many S&Pers giving me at equal serial
numbers. Began S&Ping on the 2nd rx after 2 hours. The last hour was dour
and only 2nd rx searching kept my motivation up. There didn't seem to be as
many EUs as previous years even though the antenna was higher than last
year. Best DX 5B4AGC.

Score 276 Qs, one up on last year. Hourly rates : 112,71, 57, 36.

FT1kMP Mk5, Acom 1000, dipole at 65ft, ends at 50ft.
