This is a personal view of Chris's, in fact this year's NFD has
seen an increase in entry. Now that Chris is no longer on the
RSGB HF Contests Committee, as far as I am aware there is 
no view on the Committee that NFD will see itself out over the 
next few years.

The lack of a Morse component in the new licensing structure
is of course a threat to all CW contests, and to CW activity in
general, but there's no reason to suppose that for this reason
NFD will 'see itself out' any quicker than CW in the IOTA contest.
