I totally agree with comments from GW4BLE and G3SJJ that
Writelog is awsome and a great advance on what went before.
Well worth checking out < www.writelog.com > if you haven't
already.

problem with serial numbers..."
The reason most contest software has problems with serial
numbers in Multi-op operation (and why endless messages
on the topic get posted to reflectors) is that it is just plain
impossible to achieve correct sequencing, AND allow
simultaneous entry of QSOs.
I think WL actually takes the right approach, which is to put the
number that was shown to the operator (and therefore sent)
into the log regardless of whether it is actually in sequence or
a duplicated number. That way any adjudication software
will match the serial number in sending and receiving station
logs, and therefore not flag an error.
In the case of NA, and I think CT, the operator can send the
number that is on the screen at the time a QSO was made,
and yet when the QSO is entered it will get assigned a
different number (because the other operator had entered,
or started entering, another QSO). The result is that the
serial numbers in sending and receiving station logs don't
match. It is down to interpretation as to whether that should
be treated as an error or not.
