Dear UK-Contest,
Entrants to the 2002 running of the European HF
Championship will have received the very smart
results booklet from Slovenia.
England came sixth in the national listings, a great
performance. Individual placings were:
Mixed HP - 6th - G4PIQ/P
Mixed LP - 10th - G0MTN
CW HP - 13th - G4BWP; 17th - G3TXF; 54th - G4BUO
CW LP - 35th - G3SXW; 64th - G4OGB; 76th - M0AJT;
83rd - GM3CFS; 98th - G3RSD; 134th - G3VQO;
135th - G4KFT; 156th - G0RDO
SSB HP - no UK entrants
SSB LP - 6th - G3VAO; 21st - G0WXJ; 34th - M0COP;
75th - M5ADF
Seven of these 17 entrants made it into the listings of most
accurate logs (over 95% score retained in adjudication).

SSB HP - G4PIQ/P
SSB LP - G3VAO
So - UK holds that zone 14 record in four out of six categories.

This is a great contest for antenna-challenged stations.

The RTTY version takes place on August 30/31 (1200 - 1159
GMT, 3.5 - 28MHz).
