[UK-CONTEST] WPX CW 2003 - GS2MP

Hello all

It's always interesting to have a guest operator using your station
in a major contest - I learn something every time I watch someone 
else operating.  In WPX CW, Cris GM4FAM
(aka G4FAM) operated from here signing GS2MP, repeating 
his 1998 activation of this callsign in the same contest.

A secondary purpose was to check-out the operation of the
station for a major event in July, and everything seemed to work
well, apart from a lack of side-tone on the second radio, which
I'll easily fix.

WPX CW 2003       SOSB 20m     GS2MP (GM4FAM)
2260 QSOs   x   800 Mults   =   3,432,000 Pts

Conditions were 'average' - only short openings to JA, and
difficult to work enough volume of stations to take advantage
of the good multiplier total.   Cris worked his 800th mult with
just 5 minutes of the contest left !

Equipment/antennas - FT-1000MP + TS-850s + Amp.
2 x HyGain 205cas 5ele yagis on separate towers.
