Well that was a mixture of experiences! 91 Qs, no dupes. FT1kMP 100w,
dipole at 45ft. Writelog in WPX mode, tweaked the Cabrillo header and off it
goes. Lichfield ARS. Great stuff

I had lined up 3520 to start on then found some kind of wide modulated
signal on it. Moved up to 3527 with a few S&P Qs on the second rx but wasn't
really in the mood for all that. Went S&P in the last 15 minutes. The first
hour was hard going with a SID causing localised nulls. Stations within 100
miles were very week and DLs were very strong. I could tell it was raining
since my noise level went up to s7. From about 2100 the band changed and
most Gs really pounding in.

Running with just the 100w and the dipole currently at 45ft made me realise
how the QRP guys must struggle. It was a good leveller. No M3s but a good
sprinkling of M0s.

Won't be around for the SSB leg next week and doubt if I will do the data
one. I prefer to decode the signal, CW or SSB, myself!

Well done HFCC for pushing this one, hope there are plenty of entries.
