Hi All.

Like you Paul (G0WAT) the band was very noisy. This I put down to the 5 MF
BC stations at Brookmans Park. Living about 2 to 3 miles south means it's
big trouble here. I haven't operated from home for some years now in AFS
but thought the noise was much worse than previous years.

I ended up with 232 qsos. Well down on previous scores. Used an inverted
vee dipole at roughly 50 feet. TS930S + 91b Alpha. I had no problems in
keeping a frequency just in getting people to come back to me! I blame it
all on the noise and the weaker signals which I just could pull through the
crud!

See you all next year from a quieter location.

To you Chris SJJ "I'll be back"

73 de Jim G3RTE
